Chancellor's Section
Dr. Ty J. Handy serves as the Chancellor of 天美传媒官方网站 and is one of 16 college Chancellors who make up the 天美传媒官方网站 Community and Technical College System Leadership Team. Handy became 天美传媒官方网站鈥檚 leader in 2016 and has more than 30 years of experience in higher education.
Among his numerous other leadership positions, Handy served as president of Northwest Florida State College, president of Vermont Technical College, chancellor at Ivy Tech Community College in southern Indiana and chief academic officer and dean for academic affairs at Elizabethtown Community and Technical College from 1993-1998.
Handy earned a doctoral degree in higher education administration from the University of Memphis. He earned a master's degree in business administration from Drexel University and a bachelor's degree in finance from Western 天美传媒官方网站 University.
